“I have opened this clinic on Sydney’s Northern Beaches because I believe Natural Therapies is the only way to combat the huge burden that preventable disease is placing on our Medicare System.
I feel modern medicine does not have all the answers, and we can work in a complementary way alongside Orthodox Medicine.
People need help, support and guidance to reach their best potential.”

Why am I qualified to succeed?
I am a Naturopath with a passion! To do what I love and to help people, to widen their eyes to Natural Medicine, that it can help them improve their health and wellbeing. For example you don’t just have to go to the doctor and take antibiotics you can build up your immune system.
I studied from 1999-2006 in order to get my Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy, Diploma of Nutrition and Diploma of Remedial Massage in both Perth and at NatureCare College, Sydney. From 2006 -2015 I have worked and raised 2 kids while also studying for my Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) from Charles Sturt University. On graduating in 2006 I went straight into practice at Spiritus Mundi in Fairlight which became Harbour Osteopathy and Natural Therapies and then moved to The Fountain Centre, Balgowlah. I worked at the Fountain Centre for 4 years as a practitioner and including 2 years on the front desk helping to run the clinic and manage administration and practitioners.
After all this experience I opened Green Door Health, a multi-disciplinary natural therapies clinic in Elanora Heights on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Green Door Health opened in 2012 and we eventually moved to Mona Vale in 2018 and a Herbal Apothecary was opened at the front of the shop. This was to make herbal medicine more accessible without having to book a long appointment. It was also in response to the health fund rebates for Naturopathy being phased out. This has been very popular and something I love to do. I now offer a custom herb mixing service option available via online booking or walk in over the counter. You can also now buy your herbs online with a short phone consultation! Along with herbal blends we can also mix custom herbal creams, balms, oil, gels, ointments and sell a range of herbal products including teas, creams, oils, balms & more. Whatever you need just ask or pop in for a chat!
Of course we still offer longer Naturopathy, Herbal & Nutrition appointments via our online booking portal on the website link.
In addition to all this since 2016 I have been lecturing at Endeavour College of Natural Medicine on their Health Science Degree Programs in Naturopathy & Nutritional Medicine. This is something I enjoy: teaching, interacting and learning from the next generation of practitioners!
I understand the pressures modern families are under and understand that they need access to excellent preventative health care. I am passionate about Children’s Health especially Eczema, Allergies, Food Intolerances, Sleep Issues, Behavioural Concerns, Fussy eaters, Digestive Complaints and Skin Conditions.
In the Initial Appointment for a child I use the time to take a complete case from the parent, observe and talk to the child and do some simple testing like zinc taste tests, Iridology, Ear exam with an otoscope, chest exam, physical exam etc…
Our first appointment will be fact gathering. An adult will be asked to complete an on-line health appraisal questionnaire before the first appointment , then a complete case history including family history and diet will be taken along with any presenting problems. I will also find out your health goals and obstacles to progress. Supplements may be prescribed at this stage.
Following that appointment, testing may be needed in order to get in depth health information. This will be done in clinic and may include hair mineral analysis, Food Intolerance Testing, Urinary Indicans, Zinc taste test, tongue/nail diagnosis and Iridology. You may possibly be referred for pathology testing outside the clinic which could include blood, stool or saliva.
This appointment will be followed up by a report of findings. This will detail any results found at the testing appointment along with conclusions, health goals, recommendations for duration of treatment, recommended consultation frequency and specific herbs and supplements you may need.
” Thanks very much for all your help and expertise with both my daughters health. For the past couple of years we have sought help from Doctors, Paediatricians, Dietitions and Immunologists. None were able to offer a solution to the symptoms the girls were experiencing.
It was very reassuring to finally talk to someone who had excellent up to date knowledge of children’s health and who was willing to investigate these issues with testing. Finally we got some answers and it all made sense.
The change is their health has been dramatic. They feel so good. I can tell from their brightness and increased energy levels.
I can’t help but smile when I see them so happy and healthy. It’s all a mother wants.
I feel confident that their health issues have been diagnosed and that the supplements and dietary advice that was given are excellent. I can’t thank you enough as the whole family has benefited from these changes and I feel we are all on the path to a happier healthier life.”
“I do recommend to every person I talk to with similar things going on to get up there and just get it done (The Food Detective Test).
As you know for me it really was like a metamorphic change. I don’t know how I ever got through a day with my body struggling like it was.
Lost 11kgs and now putting back on about 1.5 kg’s from I’m assuming muscle mass (hoping anyway). Training and surfing lots with my boys is my new life. All thanks to you.”
“Using a combination of a controlled diet, a probiotic and fish oil, Charlotte transformed from suffering with eczema all over her body to clear skin.
Doctors prescribed a steroid cream (Mometasone Furuoate 0.1%) to provide comfort to Charlotte. Although this cream does ease the irritation, it simply masks the symptoms and does not deal with the underlying reason for the eczema. Also, as a side effect, the cream is likely to thin the skin which made this undesirable to use all over an infants body.
Acting on Fins advice we modified Charlotte’s diet by adding a probiotic and fish oil. We also discovered foods that were adding to the problem and eliminated them. Before long the bad rash vanished and the irritation subsided. Charlotte slept sounder and is now a much happier child.”
